Overnight Borehole work along Rideau

Work will proceed from west to east along Rideau Street commencing September 15. Most boreholes will be completed in a single night, however some of the monitoring wells may take two nights to complete. As with any construction project, specific dates may change as it moves forward depending on variables encountered while work is underway.

September 15 boreholes are in the green box, September 16’s in the yellow box and September 17’s in the orange box. Subsequent monitoring wells are identified by the blue pyramids and text.

Please find attached a map that indicates both the locations and the timing of overnight borehole work that will be taking place on Rideau Street this week and into next.

Work will proceed from west to east along Rideau Street. We will be able to complete most boreholes in a single night, however some of the monitoring wells may take two nights to complete. As with any construction project, specific dates may change as we move forward depending on variables encountered while work is underway. If changes are made to the schedule, I will keep you informed of those as they come in.

In an attempt to make this a bit more legible, I have tagged tonight’s boreholes in the green box, tomorrow’s in the yellow box and Wednesday’s in the yellow box. Subsequent monitoring wells are identified by the blue pyramids and text. If additional work is identified, I will update the map and recirculate.

If you have any questions or concerns or anything is not clear in the attached, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am available at any time day or night via cell at 613-316-7231.
