Witnesses sought to fatal accident

Ottawa Police say a pedestrian has been struck and killed by a vehicle in Downtown Rideau.

Police say the woman was struck at 6:07 Friday morning at the corner of Rideau and Waller streets.

Ottawa Police are still looking for the driver and the vehicle involved.

Police say they are looking for a B train transport truck. They say the driver may not have realized that they struck the pedestrian.
