Lane reduction on Laurier Avenue East at Nicholas Street

Starting at 9 am on Wednesday, January 9, Laurier Avenue East reduced by one lane eastbound at the intersection of Nicholas Street for construction of the Combined Sewage Storage Tunnel, until approximately Sunday, March 17. The eastbound cycling lane on Laurier Avenue East is also closed; cyclists will merge with vehicles at the intersection of Laurier Avenue East and Nicholas Street during construction.

Pedestrian connectivity and OC Transpo routes will be maintained throughout construction.  For more updates on construction and roadwork activity across the city, or for information about traffic and travel planning, visit the City’s Traffic Report or follow the City’s traffic account on Twitter.
