Fairmont Château Laurier General Manager retires after 60 years of service

Congratulations to Mr. Claude J. Sauvé who is retiring from the iconic Ottawa hotel after 60 years of dedication and commitment to its success. Wishing him the very best in this next chapter!

Mayor Watson was on hand to proclaim the his retirement date of May 6, Claude Sauvé, pictured here at right.

And Claude’s legacy will also live on at Algonquin College thanks to the Ottawa Gatineau Hotel Association presenting a $2,500 bursary each year to a graduating student of the college’s Hospitality Program.
