Applications now being accepted for Street Ambassador Teams

The Downtown Rideau Street Ambassadors are an integral part of creating a welcoming experience in Downtown Rideau. The Street Ambassador teams work closely with the Street Detail maintenance program. Together, they provide comprehensive clean and safe services impacting the visitor experience in Downtown Rideau.  The Street Ambassadors walk in uniform as a point of contact for tourists, business members, and other members of the public providing directions and information of what there is to see and do in Downtown Rideau.  They are customer service representatives and report public disorder issues such as noise, obstruction of the public right of way, litter, graffiti and aggressive behaviour.
