Canada Day 2019 Security Information πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

Canadian Heritage (PCH) has provided the following information regarding security procedures on Parliament Hill for Canada Day celebrations.

An event of this magnitude requires a great deal of coordination. PCH is working closely with the Ottawa Police Services (OPS) and the City of Ottawa, to put in place measures to ensure the safety of the 365,000 people who will take part in the festivities at, and around, Parliament Hill on Canada Day.

We are counting on your collaboration to inform your customers of these measures.

Police officers and security officers will be at intersections and will be able to inform customers of safety instructions and if delays are to be expected.

For more information, visit the Parliamentary Protective Service website. We wish you a pleasant Canada Day!
